Rogers selling Palm Pre 2

In case anyone was interested. I've seen this for a while but just realized it isn't even on their site.

$299 for 3 years.
$914 for no contract (lol)

Here's the problem. You'll be able to have the same experience on the $150 contract less pre on bell if you run an overclocking patch. The CDMA vs HSPA is really negligible.

They didn't even fix the ****ing oreo effect. I want to find the guy who decided a curved slider was a great idea and rip his heart out. Also $914? I'm guessing it includes every palm product that will be made plus the pre 2 is made of gold?

was also about to mention that...I cant find it on their site.....unless it is still not "official" to be sold yet.....

Wowsers what is with Rogers and over pricing Palm hardware. Remember when Rogers launched the Centro. That was suppose to be a budget cell phone, which was $99 in the states. Rogers priced it at $249.99 on a 3 year contract. WTF are they smoking lol.

its only 450 factory unlocked straight from hp.com... the price is just wrong..

But will they ship to Canada? The 900 outright is probably because if it was 450 how do you justify 250 on a 3 year with $500 ECF?

The dummy phones and feature cards arrived but the device hasn't launched, which is why you do not see it on the site. As for the price card, errors can easily happen as these don't come from corporate, but rather each dealer creates their own set. If you shop around at various stores you'll notice wrong price cards on a multitude of devices.

Stores should not have the Pre 2 dummy out. It was supposed to launch late November, but whether that's happening now......hard to say.
