    Cyanogen or Sense

I'm really debating which to use right now...

I have just rooted my Desire and installed Cyanogen Mod 6.1
everything works, but it's just not Sense... and there are a few "visual" and "UI" parts that I don't really like...

first of all, Sense UI in general is VERY convenient, and EXTREMELY gorgeous... and I came from a Touch Pro2, so am VERY used to the whole Sense look and ease of connectivity, and ESPECIALLY that on-screen keyboard... SO USEFUL!

but the downside with Sense, is that the stock memory of Desire is quite low *says a total of 148MB...* and I have ALREADY hit the max with about 7-8 apps I installed for fun before rooting...

with Cyano, I can transfer them onto SD so space shouldn't be a problem... and I know I can transfer some to SD in Sense too, but MOST are "locked" by devs so the bigger ones are still stuck on the phone =(

what do you think I should do?

should I just bite the bullet and stick with Cyanogen (it is indeed very smooth, and all the options available are amazing) but it's just... not as great looking or "easy" to use...

    or go back to Sense?
and try to get App2SD partition working? *it's SO MUCH more complicated*

I currently use Leedroid's with A2SD+ and it comes with Sense. I used to have 21mb of internal memory after rooting and after I flashed Leedroid with A2SD+, I now have 95mb internal memory and 220mb from the ext2/3(?) partition. I pretty much installed all the apps I had before plus 2-4 more apps.

Partitioning isn't so hard as long as you follow the instructions. I used ROM Manager > ClockworkMod to partition my SD card for A2SD+. I followed this instruction for A2SD+.

I've been enjoying the CM7 nightlies for quite a while now.

I went from Leedroid 2.3 w/apps2sd to CM7 RC1. CM7 is WAY faster and has a lot of nice options that aren't found in the HTC Sense framework. HTC Sense does look awesome though (IMHO) and has some really nice integration with Facebook and Twitter. The stock Sense widgets are some of the best I've tried and really wish they were available for CM7.

If there was a nice build of Sense 2.0 for the Desire running on top of Gingerbread, I would be tempted to switch back. But for now, its CM7 all the way for me.

Does your MMS still work after installing these ROMS? I have LeeDroid 2.3d right now and everytime I send an MMS to someone, it says "wrong format" on their end.
