LG Dare Music Player Problems

Hi, I have a lg dare and I cannot get it to play any music from my sd card. It opens the player and shows on the screen that it is playing the songs but there is no sound comming from the phone. The speaker works with the ringtones and sounds just no sound when playing music. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this issue. Thanks in advance.

Suzuki,

While it indicates the song is playing, tap the screen and see if you get a small volume scroll bar. It is separate from the ringers. This is what I see on my Dare.

i have a similar problem. i moved music onto a micro SD card, but it wont show any of the music on my Dare's player... if anyone could help me that would be great.

Here is a possible cause of your problem:
For many of the Verizon non-smartphones, all the songs need to be sitting side by side in the music folder that the phone created when you used the phone to format the memory card; in the music folder, the songs can not be sitting in subfolders inside of that music folder.
