No one is going to help you, using a illegally modified phone on Boost.
Go away.
Google It...

Wow...DeathTrip... so harsh you never were like this before. I never asked anyone for how to do an esn repair or anything.
Last I checked telling me what PRL file is the latest isn't illegal right? I am sure people ask that for loading on their BB or TP2 all the time.
This way they can see if they are on the newest 3G PRL. I'll just try and get it from my other phone.
Thanks. CHEERS
No, you also didn't have to mention that your phone had a repaired ESN. Also, by mentioning it won't do a PRL update, that means it's not a REPAIR, it' a CLONE.
So, you brought it on yourself.
I don't recall all the specifics of what a PRL(Prefered Roaming List) file actually is but doesn't it seem kind of moot to update on Boost since Boost doesn't have roaming? seems like its something that would update automatically most of the time as well.
^ Speeds under perfect tower(average is 300-800k).
You're right, of course. But that way the phone communicates with the tower's servers can help your call quality and help with less dropped calls.
According to our friends at Wikipedia...
"The PRL indicates which bands, sub bands and service provider identifiers will be scanned and in what priority order. ...There may be cases where missing or corrupt PRL's can lead to a customer not having service at all."
I always set up the slot cycle index at 1, and keep that PRL up to date.
...of course sometimes the PRL updates aren't always perfect.
First off, a PRL can tell the phone of new towers that can be accessed, whether it be Sprint or non-Sprint, while on the HOME network.
Second, setting the Slot Index Cycle is not something everyone can do. It isn't just a network thing, but also a regional thing. I don't know how or why, but sometimes the tower can over-ride the Slot Index Cycle, depending on where you are.
I had a TP2, and got 61007 a couple of weeks ago.
Now I'm running a Mogul and the phone auto updated to 60672.
So I think yes.
**EDIT**
I went back to a TP2, and updated the PRL. I got 61007 again...(?)

Thank you. It seems they updated their cdma coverage map on the 14th. At first i was in the fair coverage area now in the th Best coverage area.
So what is the difference between prls 60672 and 61007?
Im not positve but i think one is just the most updated one. If Sprint/Boost updated their coverage area then they might need to update the PRL, Like i said im not positive tho.
Doesnt really matter tho to me because i checked the coverage area on the map and it now says im in the best coverage but when i checked like 2months ago i was in fair coverage. To me its the same coverage. 1 maybe 2 bars on EVDO. I get drop calls more than anybody i kno when at home. I cnt tether, barely can browse the web (even tho its kno reason when im at home) my connection is just unreliable. Now when i leave my apartment its ON! I get full bars everywhere else in st. Louis, whenever i travel out of town, Full Bars, tethering and all on 3G and its pretty fast to me.
I get excellent service in St Louis. Everywhere around South County, East St Louis, Fairview Heights, all the way to Mt Vernon IL.
