Do not buy from Island.boy! Is ia a cheat and a scammer!

Well it's been months since Island.boy scammed me out of 1000USD and a P01B and a Software unlocked N01A.

We had an agreement that I would send him the money and phones to exchange for 3 Ipads/Iphone4s that he would help me buy from the apple store in Hawaii. But after I send the money and phones he vanished and posted he had some family issues. I told him I understand and I could wait, but after he post the !ATTENTION! All Readers. Important Emergency! Tread on the Japanese Forum on August 24th 2010 He stopped coming back on to HoFo and stop replying my messages MSN and email. The moderator Jay had contacted me after I posted a tread regarding the situtation and I gave him the evidence that Island.boy had scammed me he told me he would work on contactign Island.boy to get his side of the story. Well Jay hasn't contacted me for over a month now and I don't think there is much progress.

The reason I had trusted Island.boy was mainly due to him being a Moderator on this forum. But I guess it didn't matter. I am posting this in hope of HoFo members boycotting Island.boy and not buy from him.

If anyone needs any evidence from the 1000USD bank transfer I made to him or email exchanges feel free to ask.

how did you pay? paypal? if so, from your bank account or using a credit card? because if you used credit card, you can file for charge back.

I think he asked to get some hypersims off me at one point and asked if he could try one and pay me if it's good otherwise return me the product. I kinda laughed and said you'll get one when money clears into my account and that was the end of that hypersim conversation.

He said he 'sent' the money and the phones. I'm assuming the phones are sent by mail but I'm not sure about the cash though.

Always had a very good experience sending over phones to Zero, have sent him phones to have unlocked, never had an issue.

I was under the impression that he was trust worthy, since he had bought a phone from me and he was a mod here.

i personally wouldn't send a payment that required me to wire the money or western union that cash. those are just red flags and no-nos. paypal is probably the safest way to go. because if paypal doesn't work, you can still call up your credit card company and dispute the charge.

you should post his picture in 4chan, 100% secure you will get even his office number (if he have one) or SSN, in any case i do support you on this Zero, i dealt with you with a 922SH and althought we all know what happen i don't regreat in buying it from you. let's see if i can circulate his picture around and see what i can get...
