Very interesting! That might be the solution I need at my house! Can you link to more info about it? For example, what Wi-Fi bands does it support? Is it a dual-band wireless N router?

Well, that sucks. I would want the dual-band functionality to make online connectivity better if I want to connect my Xbox 360 to it. Guess I might just stick with a standard in-home modem and connect a seperate, dual-band wireless N router...
or would a Clear Spot give me better performance? I'm hearing of speeds as high as 12 mbps with the Clear Spots! But how's the range? Does it have enough range to cover all the devices in a 3 bedroom, 2 story townhouse?

I have the M Series Modem and the Clear Spot. I also get 6Mbps max with the Motorola and 12Mbps on the Clear Spot.
Clear customer service told me the Motorola has a better antenna than the Spot, so I don't understand why it gets half the performance. I can put the two right next to each other and the Spot will always be double the speed of the Motorola.
I was hoping someone would have used the Clear Modem with Wi-Fi by now to have some sort of idea of it's performance. I'm looking for another modem that has a speed of 12Mbps, but don't want to spend money on additional equipment without information on its performance.

The Clear Spot has a setting in which you can change it to long range. It will pass through floors, however it will only work in the room directly below where the Spot is located. we're currently with yahoo dsl and thinking about switching over to clear month-to-month. we're thinking of getting their modem with wifi, and also a series s usb modem for on-the-go. anyone can comment on the range, speed, and uptime (any downtime)?
i see the modem with wifi only has one port, which means we have to go wireless for all pcs at home. not really a problem, but we went back to wired for a few pcs that's located in bedrooms side-by-side for better connection / speed. would you recommend getting an external router or their built-in one?
is it true that if we get their series s usb modem and pay 10 extra per month for 3g as back-up (10/mo = nationwide plan), we cannot simply cancel the nationwide plan and use the same series s usb modem for 4g-only connection? will there be issues if in the future we switch the on-the-go device from usb modem to the clear spot 4g or 4g+? any increase in monthly plan?
they said the monthly for home and on-the-go is $60 flat (no tax). and we can add 10/mo for the on-the-go for 3g backup, which is also no tax. is it true that there is no tax? if we go month-to-month, do we need to provide credit card info? and how do they charge us, auto debit from cc?

My series M modem finally crapped out (rolling green light forever), and I requested a replacement.
I didn't request the modem with wifi (I don't need it because it connects to my home network) but I found it isn't manufactured by motorola (a good thing).
I will get G modem as a replacement.

The series G modem is manufactured by Gemtek.
It has better reception than motorola one as it has an omni directional antenna rather than single sided thats on the EARLIER Motorola model

The result is not better than M except I get a bit lower latency.
