On Android phones, this can be configured in Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > Menu > New APN. Be sure to select Menu > Save APN when done entering the above information.
I have the Samsung Galaxy S on Wind Mobile and I just switched to the Holiday Miracle Plan. The MMS settings that I used which worked are: Make ONE APN with the following settings: Name: WIND APN: internet.windmobile.ca Proxy: Not Set Username: Not Set Password: Not Set Server: Not Set MMSC:http://mms.windmobile.ca MMS proxy: 74.115.197.70 MMS port: 8080 MCC: 302 MNC: 490 Authentication type: Not Set APN type: internet+mms
I don't think there's any guarantee that the combined Internet and MMS settings people keep posting around will consistently work. A separate APN for MMS is how Wind has it setup, and even if a single APN works for some people now, there's no reason for Wind to ensure non-standard configurations work. They will design and test to ensure compatibility with their own stuff, and that's it.
On an unrelated note, can we change the title of this thread to "Wind Internet and MMS Settings"? People keep creating threads about MMS settings because they don't see this sticky.
When I create two apns my 3g stops working. but when I leave the apn type field blank then the 3g comes back on but still no mms. Any thoughts? Using the nexus s
Edit:
Well, works great now, main thing was Swype automatically left a space between the comma with default, supl. Took me FOREVER to find that problem, but once the space was gone, works like a charm. Thanks for all the essential info here

Hope this helps some of you
Will this APN work on the Blackberry? I have a couple of apps that require APN to be set.
I put in the 2 APNs and whenever I send or receive an MMS message, my 3G internet becomes unavailable for a couple of minutes. Using a Nexus S.
After reading the OP at first, I was sorta confused at where I'd enter the MMS settings. Would I just create a new Internet APN setting for the MMS service? <- Perhaps this is what most of you are doing, which I do not suggest is incorrect.
I found on my Windows Mobile phone a menu to enter MMS settings, so instead of creating another Internet APN settings, I entered the OP Info into the MMS Menu and bang, I was able to send MMS with no issues (this was also during the time I had my phone tethered to my computer).
Perhaps the Nexus has some other section to enter the MMS info?
