It may depend on whether those phones take a mini-SIM or not. You had to cut the SIM to go into the iPhone didn't you?

Hey does anyone know of jailbroken code/apps that would make the phone app come up every time the phone is unlocked?
It won't work with data *calls and text mite be good to go* services on the blackberry since they use BIS i think.. but there was a work around somewhere on this forums to make it work... as for your SIM being a microSIM now, you can buy an extender =] it'll work on Android though, might have to change up the APN's a bit.
Will the ST SIM card activate the phone after a complete restore? Meaning after you do an update or restore, the iPhone will have the plug into iTunes screen. I know the iPhone will be activated once you plug in the phone via USB and launch iTunes if you have an AT&T SIM inside, I was curious if the ST SIM will activate it as well?
EDIT: Also will the built in Personal Hotspot in iOS 4.3+ work with ST?

Yes, iTunes should still activate the phone with the ST SIM inside (it is still an at&t SIM). I've done this with my 3GS before without issue.
Personal Hotspot will only work if you enable tethering and modified the APNs to enable tethering (my previous posts here and here will help you do so nearly permanently w/out buying Cydia tweaks, or use this topic's first post to do so with paid apps and tinkering).

Yes. My iphone was replaced and Apple didn't care that the sim was not from AT&T.
I've just recently got mine, so no I haven't, sorry.
