Not even sure they are being made anymore. I agree with Trac, I think they are just selling out.

Well, you'd still need the E71, since none of the cheaper Straight Talk phones include an unlocked SIM. Also, the iPhone 2G only gets EDGE, so you may want to consider Simple Mobile instead if there's decent T-Mobile coverage in your area. It's $15 more per month for unlimited everything, but you'd have to use Straight Talk for 13 months before you'd actually save any money over Simple Mobile, once you factor in the cost of the E71.
Here is another possibility that occurred to me. I had the Straight Talk E71 for awhile but only returned it because the main reason I bought it was a service by a site that requires the voice & data at the same time that is only on 3G and I misread the AT & T map (it turns out I am in a 2G ONLY area)! While I had it I was very impressed with the E71. So . . . how about getting the E71 now as an improvement to the LG 620 and then switch to the iPhone 3g later if you find yourself still wanting things that are iPhone only?
All of this is based on the assumption that you are in an area where AT &T has at least 3G coverage as the advantage of the E71 from Straight Talk (which ONLY works on AT & T) and iPhone 3G is use in a 3G area.
Hey Romeo does the Nokia 6790 have the proper SIM card in it as well? From what I can tell there should be little difference in the two phones as far as the SIM is concerned.
I dont see why there would be any difference in the SIM card considering both phones have the same capabilites (save for wifi being absent on the 6790).
I have another question though. Some have mentioned loopholes in Net10 and Tracfone that were shut down. Can anyone elaborate on what these were? Thanks.
My area coverage is only good for Verizon even the LG att st phone in my area has dead spots, not counting the white screen issues and memory leaks with this phone. I just want something that works....man I miss Altel lol
Then get a E71 if you want to be sure.
They have a good return policy. just buy the 6790, but dont buy a activation card. Take it home, take out the sim card and post what numbers are on the sim card. ill tell you if it will work.
Just a quick question about cutting the sim card down to put it in an iPhone 4. If you miss a payment to Straight Talk you have to reactivate your phone. What would you do? The cut down sim card won't fit in the e71 anymore will it? Just wanting to make sure I wouldn't be screwed if I cut the sim card.
