Cyfre amplifier

Have read that the TMobile signal (s) are "different" than Verizon, AT&T etc. Got a Cyfre CA-819 amplifier and it doesnt appear to be increasing signal. Got a cheapie 25.00 external antenna plugged into the USB jet stick which actually works. A little. But, when run through the amp this results in no signal boost. Are the amps also specific to freq? This might explain why it doesnt seem to be working?

Cyfre amplifier works on 800 and 1900 mhz . Tmobile in a lot of arear are now using 1700 and 2100 mhz . So that would explain it not working for you. There are no amplifiers out right now for those frequencies . By the way the Cyfre amplifier works fine on all carriers on 800 and 1900 . Which is everyone but Tmobile and Nextel.
