Huawei Ascend: Need to do a factory reset

My Ascend is stuck on the Cricket startup screen,
when it finishes it just repeats, over and over, etc.

I need to do a factory reset, but I can not reach the call screen.

This site tells me the control buttons to over ride the loop,
    http://www.cellphonedaily.com/how-to...ei-ascend.html
But the software is not posted on the Huawei website.

    Any help,
How can I get this done?

Does anyone on this site have the software?

Here is the Cricket version of the Huawei Ascends recovery rom.

If you prefer to get it directly from Huawei's site and have it download slow as hell.. Here's their link:

For anyone else reading this and thinking this is a recovery image like Clockwork recovery or something, it's not. Don't flash it to a MetroPCS phone, lol.

I'm told you can factory reset by holding the power, volume up and send keys simutanously.

Have you tried volume down + talk + power

That should take you to the recovery screen and see if you can do a system wipe
