so what did you get for christmas?

before i say anything and before people say something about this kind of thread, i would like to mention gifts to me are pointless. the only time i get giddy is when someone does/gets me something that i already planned to get that are essential to my daily life.

anyways:

new monitor (early gift): my old 19" decided to get the blue ring of death (samsung) so i ended up getting a 24" viewsonic 1080p hdmi monitor.

32" 1080p hdtv: sadly this tv cameout of the box defective, so i will be one of many people inline to exchange it at best buy. i didnt ask for it and frankly im shocked to have gotten this. im so used to 19" tvs 720p lcds.

tennis shoes: only thing i truely wanted. mine were so worn out inside, i was getting my heels cut by the plastic found inside the shoe.

blue-ray player: another shocker. i was planning on getting one by the way of a ps3, so this was a shock. atleast now i can stream netflix.

i recieved more than i deserve and im thankful so lets hear it.

My family has stopped trying to buy me gifts since I'm too picky, not to mention that anything I wanted I would've gotten myself already! But my daughter came home from college for Christmas, so that's priceless. But I did buy myself a couple of Casio G Shock watches. I dunno why, since I usually try to stick to Swiss-made watches. But I bought one for my son, and they seem like interesting gadgets! Have been debating for months whether to give myself an iPhone, but don't know if the whole app and browsing experience would get old in a hurry and not justify the data plan. May just cheap out and get an iPod Touch with my HBC rewards points instead!
