    Telus email settings for iPhone 4

    cannot find information that works on how to do this. Please can someone point towards SPECFIC settings?

    It's an iPhone 4 on bell network but want to setup Telus settings!
    Trying to fix this today for someone.

    Go to the website of the email provider for directions. It should not matter which carrier you are using.

    Correct! E-mail is carrier agnostic, it's an IP-based service. Consult whoever provides the mail service for the proper settings.

    POP email settings:

    Domain name: telus.net
    Server type = POP3
    Incoming (POP) server = pop.telus.net
    Outgoing (SMTP) server = smtp.telus.net


    IMAP email settings:

    Domain name: telus.net
    Server type = IMAP
    Incoming (IMAP) server = imap.telus.net
    Outgoing (SMTP) server = smtp.telus.net

    If these settings aren't working for you, post the error message so I can try to troubleshoot for you.

    Also, is it a telus internet email you are trying to use or a telus cell phone email account? ie. is telus your internet service provider or are you trying to load an account that is only attached to a mobile service?

    thank darkside. This is going to be tricky as I am trying to now help them long distance.
    Does domain name = host name?
