MMS should work "out of the box" with no changes to a Droid X.
MMS uses cellular data to send/receive. Is cellular data enabled on your phone? If yes, have you have exceeded your 100MB data allotment for the TNT 1200 month?

Is there any Droid X APN settings that can enable MMS on Pageplus. Right now, I cannot able to receive/send mms messages on their allotted 2k text messaging (using TNT1200 plan).
Thanks,

My PagePlus Phone History---11 Years & Counting
- Ericsson AF738, Jul 01 - Dec 03, Std Plan, $30/Yr
- Qualcomm QCP 2760, Dec 03 - Feb 08, Std Plan, $30/Yr
- LG VX-8600, Feb 08 - Apr 10, Std Plan, $30/Yr
- Samsung Omnia SCH-i910, Apr 10 - Nov 11, Std Plan, $80/Yr
- HTC Droid Incredible, Nov 11 - Present, Std Plan, $80/Yr
I'm using a Droid 2,find that when I get an MMS it notifies me to retry download. I have to turn data on, the proceed to download. Same with sending. Not as easy as before, but well worth it.
I checked my usage details and still have 300 min/900 tm/33.6 MB of data remaining that expires on 5/9/11. I had my data turned on. PP customer service was unhelpful as they said they don't support this phone.
PagePlus needs to make sure Data is turned on for your plan. But you need to make sure Data is turned on at your phone. If you're using the guide in this thread and have DroidWall installed and configured like the OP states, then Data is blocked by DroidWall. Make sure you unblock it.
I get a "National Access Coverage" is not availalbe whenever I try to send an MMS - via wifi, when I have Handcent SMS set up. Any idea what the problem may be". I am on 1200 TNT
I'm pretty sure that MMS can only be sent/received using cellular data. MMS can't be sent/received using WiFi.
I followed the OP Droidwall settings, but my DroidX doesn't have an entry called "messaging" in Droidwall as the instructions specified to whitelist for 3G. I am having no luck emailing on 3G with the Driodwall settings, but it works if I turn off droidwall. The seems to be other entries that need to be whitelisted for pop3 email. Currently I have "email" whitelisted for 3G on Droidwall, but it is not allowing the email system to work.
Can anyone help? I spent quite a bit of time googling it but couldn't find any info on this.
Thanks,
Michael

I am having the same issue on a Droid 1. I want everything to be able to use wifi and only MMS and opera mini to use 3g and I can not get MMS to work with Droidwall at all. I have played around with the settings but even with messaging and opera mini allowed they are still not able to connect. I end up having to turn the firewall off to allow MMS/opera to work when not connected to wifi
Thanks. Hope to get the most out of my Droid X.
I got everything working now on my Droid X, including MMS - Keep in mind I am using Handcent SMS for texting/MMS stuff. I set up everything per the guide but then had to open some additional Droidwall services and I may have some things running that shouldn't be , but I wanted the 3G GPS to work as well when I need it, but I seem to be using very little data overall (I don't download email automatically - I have it set to manual mode):
For 3G settings I have the following Whitelisted:
10084 - Email
10106 - Handcent SMS
10059 - Maps
10105 - Opera Mini
10003 - Which has a bunch of services tied to it
10099 - Super user (for Root)
10020 - Text Messaging
I think 10003 is the key to getting MMS to work.
Hope this helps .
Thanks! My DroidX will be here Friday, I'll try your settings.
I love my droid X now - With everything set up, it is very efficient with data usage
