Exclamation What happens when i go over my data limit?

On T-Mobile PREPAID what happens when you go over your data package limit? For instance i have the $50 Unlimited talk & Text w/ 100 Megabytes of web. If i go over that 100 MB...and i know i will guaranteed, what will happen when i do?

Please no speculation, only reply if you have went over your limit and tell us what happened.

I'd love to speculate oh this and that will happen, too, but lets keep this totally factual. Pretty please?

Once you run out, you can't browse the web unless you
1.) buy a web day pass
2.) renew your monthly plan early

You will never be charged overages or anything like that, you'll get cut-off once you hit the limit. They also send you like 2 txt messages before that.

In my experience, you get a little more than 100MB, I have used 150MB before and it only recorded like 70MB of usage. (I use the iDataUsage app on the iPhone to measure and compare against the official count)

Would a customer be able to add on $10 card in order to get more data, instead of buying the entire plan again?

This thread is old and things haved changed. Which prepaid plan do you have?

For the $30 one. Yes. You can buy web daypasses
For the $50 one, No. Its unlimited 2G after 100MB.
For the $70, no. But its 5GB before your throttled.

    That actually sound very interesting,

If that is the case, then 30MB might be sufficient for me, since I would be within wifi range for most of the day.

Anyone else can confirm that this is actually the case?

Please read my post above. This thread is from last year and things have changed. From my current experience, its still undercounting by single digit %, but really not much. You can pretty much say its accurate now.
