    Um....I'm pretty sure Best Buy doesn't offer one year contracts....
    Low price, Excellent Service, High Quality. Pick any two, but you never get all three.

    Correct, even tho they have the option, they are not allowed to offer 1 year.
    v Speed Test with my Motorola Droid in AL. Droid Does (and so Does Verizon).

    Speed Test with my Motorola Droid in Birmingham, AL. Droid Does (and so Does Verizon).^

    Speed Test with DSL internet with AT&T(Bellsouth). Horrible.

    And now that I look at it, BB's "retail" prices are grossly, grossly over-inflated.

    Think back a few years......back in the 70's my parents got a new rotary dial phone and it was hard wired to one spot in the house. It was the basic phone rented from a small town telephone company. They had that phone from 1973 to 2001 when we finally broke down and bought them a new phone. At that time the phones only placed and received calls, had one annoying bell ringer and you had to run back to the house when someone called.

    All things considered do we really have it so bad?

    Many experts beleive this is what the earlier phones may have looked like, but nobody has actually seen one.

    Yes, BestBuys Full Retail price for Verizon phones have been much more than what it would cost to pay Full Retail at Verizon on-line or in-store.
    => Read my reviews for the Samsung Droid Charge, HTC ThunderBolt, and Casio G'zOne Commando.

    => VX8000 at Disney World:Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4.

    We live in an economy where every consumer feels they are "owed" something. The sad truth.. that is not the case. I say shop around to get the best deals. Now buying at best buy is a GREAT idea. 50% of sales come from the indirect channel aka best buy, wal mart, frys, cosco, diamond wireless and so on. If they offer it cheaper.. why not?

    One thing that I've learned is that no company values loyalty anymore. It's sad, but true.

    Yes, that's also reflected in how people have to switch careers or jobs ie we also value options more than loyalty.

    They rented that phone from 1973 all the way to 2001? I wonder what, in total, they paid for it?
