    What does the iPhone say in the upper left corner? ATT, Straight Talk, or something different?

    No need to unlock, you can be running the latest iOS too. You dont even need to JailBreak the phone if you dont care about MMS working. You can get 3G data and phone calls to work right away. Read the how to.
