The latest information now is that the Bionic is not going to make it to market, and Targa or a similar model will take it's place.

Within the same time frame...2q 2011? Or do we have to wait until 3q/4q for multi-core goodness?

wow verizon is getting worse by the second I can't believe this, this time two years ago I was riding on the glory that was the OG droid on the most dependable network with fairish plans and now we've seen the death of one year contracts, NE2's, and unlimited data is sure to be the next to go.

The real questions about the Targa now are:
1. are we looking at Q3 still? If so, early or late?
2. Tegra 2 or maybe TI OMAP 4 dual core?

I have a preference for the TI OMAP processors for some reason. They just seem to perform very well overall. Heck, my OG Droid is running a version of Gingerbread and, if I had some more RAM and a slightly bigger screen I wouldn't even have any real itch to upgrade at the moment. Other than wanting some of those 4G speeds, of course. Speed wise though, I have no real problem with the OG Droid.
