Received the FRG83G 2.2.2 update OTA this afternoon. Bug fixes mentioned however Google doesn't say which bugs it has squished. Ho-hum another week with no Gingerbread OTA

I'm waiting for the official push...
I've already loaded a custom rom...
I'm also waiting for the gingerbread push from Google. Had a Samsung Galaxy Vibrant and got rid of it due to all the bloatware and the dreaded Kies software. Even though the specs were better it ran poorly compared to the N1.

Hope with this update they are getting ready to release 2.3![]()
I've tried a few Cyanogen 7 nightlies.
I'm on the fence about Cyanogen in general, I thought the 'stable' 6.1 mod was a bit glitchy, and the improvements don't make a huge difference to me. Having said that, the nightlies are a great way to try Gingerbread and it's easy enough to revert to stock when the official ROM comes out, so why not give them a try?
I think some people aren't too familar with custom ROMs and therefore aren't aware of how easy it is to revert to whatever they were previously running if they don't like the one they just loaded. On some days I'll try multiple ROMs, and at other times I'll go for weeks using the same one. It's not a big deal.
