Increasing the diagonal size of the screen larger than 3.5" doesn't necessarily mean that the phone will be bigger.
Unfortunately, increasing the diagonal size of the iPhone would require either making the phone wider (and hence "larger" to most people), or it would require changing the resolution of the screen since there's not much room on either side of the display (but there is room at the top and bottom), which could be an issue for developers (but use a more common aspect ratio).
Take a look at the current aspect ratios. iPhone is 960x640, 3:2 (13.5:9). Android phones are often 800x480, 5:3 (15:9) or 854x480, 16:9.
I think the two best options would be 1024x640 (16:10), which would present an "easier" migration from the 960x640 display. At the same width, we'd get about a 3.7 inch display.
My preference though, would be for 1280x720 (16:9), which would be perfect for HD video, but would require a lot of developer work. At the same width, this would be about a 4-inch display. Apple would only have to reclaim about 0.54 inches of vertical space from the speaker and home button areas to stay with the same form factor.
Assuming that mockup stayed with the same overall size, I'd guess that's the aspect ratio for it. What I really like though, are the notification LEDs.

I hope they keep the aspect ratio at 3:2, that's really the best compromise between 4:3 and 16:9. A flat-out 16:9 display does not look right to me in a device that I use predominantly in portrait mode.
I am a little confused. My Verizon phone was able to roam on GSM because they used TDMA. Tell it was shutdown. The phone recognizes it as Analog. If PCS has TDMA, It could be technically be used on GSM.

Fix notifications, collapsible folders for Exchange users, a better overall email experience (why cant it be more like outlook functionality?) don't loose a physical button, smaller than a Galaxy, better camera (Like N8), option for removable storage, Stronger RF/fix antenna issue, faster processor, more RAM, blah, blah, blah

Reason: I'm smarter now
I would like to see Apple update it's software to be able to display full screen animated mms messages with sound. Come on Apple! After 4 major software revisions, we still can't view a mms message with sound like old phones from Moto and Nokia have been able to do for years. On the hardware side, give me some RF to make and receive calls like my Motorola Razr2 V9 and I'll be a happy camper!

I agree. Although android is just as bad on the animated MMS side. My Motorola Milestone 2 does have a ton better RF performance than either my 3Gs or iP4.
