I don't think this is true. I don't think Apple makes 4G WiMax iphone 5 and for sure no LTE iPhone. But will people buy Sprint 3G iPhone while the majority of new Sprint phones now are 4G? Of course there will be some people buy whatever Apple produces. How about you guys, will you guys still buy it if it's not a 4G (LTE, WiMax, HSPA+) phone but it has 1G RAM, dual core processor, at least 4" screen? After such a long time waiting for a new iphone, I think that most of us have a high expectation for the new iphone. If it doesn't have at least HSPA+, I'm not sure if I'll buy it because by next year, LTE would standard so I might as well just get the infuse, thrill, or xperia play and wait for another year for LTE iphone. If all they have is just a slightly improve iphone, I'll be so disappointed! With all the rumors built up, I can't wait for tomorrow!! I live just about 15 minutes from their headquarter and it's been sprinkling off and on and I heard that Engadget will have a booth set up outside to do a live preshow! So, hope the weather would be nice to them

Looks like so far, no iPhone5, just an updated 4 (4S)... seems investors were disappointed especially after all the rumors and hype, stock went up right before announcement, then has continued to drop when it appeared it will just be the 4S.
I am a little confused. My Verizon phone was able to roam on GSM because they used TDMA. Tell it was shutdown. The phone recognizes it as Analog. If PCS has TDMA, It could be technically be used on GSM.
