Well, it's official. We all should stop lusting after our iPhones and the upcoming 5. HTC President says iPhones aren't cool anymore.

I am right now satisfied with my iPhone 4,But i would surely like to buy a new one when it will be launched.....I would like to suggest one thing for iPhone 5 a big screen and slim body would be preferable just like iPad Touch...Thanks

Yeah, that's definitely a render and not a real design.

I'm thinking two iPhones. The current VZW iPhone 4 gets a modest to nil spec bump plus GSM/UMTS (with 1700) to become the iPhone 4S. A new design gets the A5, 8MP cam, 4"+ screen, but will only be available on the top tier carriers (AT&T/VZW in the US).

Apple has been producing multiple models for a while now (3GS production continued well after 4 was released), but this time they want lower cost model to be multi-carrier, and offer it to the smaller carriers that can't afford their flagship product.

Actually, I went back and read the page they replaced the pics with. There isn't much actual info there, just a lot of 'insider sources' information. That makes me think they are speculating as much as we are. If they are right though, there will be two models. One thing that doesn't make sense to me is they show a aluminum (or some metal) backing but then mention wireless charging. I would think inductive charging would preclude a metal backing, but I really don't know.

haha… i bet apple is laughing away at all these people out there speculating what their next iPhone will look like, what hardware it will have, what iOS it will have… what screen size… what cases are coming out for it…
Id be laughing if Apple has NO iPhone coming out this year at all… It will just flush all those theories down the toilet…
