Boost intro'd the 8330 in January 2010, then the 8530 in October 2010...they move through the BBs pretty rapidly
It would only be logical for the 9330 to be next...probably with OS6 since Boost loaded OS5 on the 8530 at launch.
Unfortunately, the 9330 is still Rev-0
Well... the 9330 has threaded SMS, and the 8530 has predictive texting.
The 9330 has 325mb memory, while the 8530 has 256mb.
lol, I'm sure he drinks beer, but I'm sure he drinks scotch or wiskey more.
Call him up and ask.
The reason I say that is I can picture a Virgin display right next to a Boost one at retail outlets like Best Buy, Target, etc with a budget minded consumer(prepaids main target) trying to decide between a Optimus V and a similar Boost Android device.
Of course if your someone that still wants/needs unlimited minutes it wouldn't mater. Both brands could be priced at $60 month for that.
Still I don't exactly see them flying off the shelves like the Optimus V is right now

^ Speeds under perfect tower(average is 300-800k).
Quite simply, in my opinion: Cost. Curves just cost less to make and for the end consumer. They use less data because they can only connect to the internet so fast.
On Sprint's site right now, a Curve 3G is $350 outright ($50 subsidized), a 9650 is $450 outright ($200 subsidized). And holy crap...they have refurb'd Tours again...but not at $80 like last time, $30
The Boost 8530 MSRP's at $200...street price is $170-ish on ebay. The Tour is going to be 2 years old in like 6 months. I'd love to have a Tour or Bold on the $60 BB plan
This is the Sprint exec. in charge of the Prepaid Group among other things...
Here's the prepaid team (SPG) that works for him...
CON-Tracts??? We don't need no stinking contracts!
What I heard was a bb flip and bb touch the 3rd quarter of this year....and either the inuendo or zio very shortly
The 9670 (Style) is yet $50 more than the 9330 (Curve)...plausible, but I'd bet on Curve soon, Style later (late fall?). Touch...over a year away if at all, judging by Sprint BB vs Boost BB launches in the past.
Innuendo is confirmed by dt
