Its not like the prices are subsidized like they are with a post paid account. It also makes no difference to a carriers bottom line if a low end device is using the same network technologies as slightly better one if both in the end wind up using the same level of services. In this case both would have REV A EVDO data.

Also other prepaid brands are starting to offer better devices then what Boost just came out. For example Metro has the Galaxy Indulge(take 4G out of the equation) and I know they plan to come out with better options this summer.

I think the prevail is a good starter device for boost now they just need some a little better for those wanting more but at a higher purchase price for the device on the same plan $50 unlimited shrinkage plan.

Yeah i think boost can do better but the Prevail has its place. If they keep the prevail and get another but more expensive option that makes boost even stronger. This is coming from someone who is a fan of boost/Sprint(local data speeds aside) and wants to see them to continue to be far ahead of the competition like they are now. I suspect the majority of people who post here are fans and feel the same way as well.

This constant complaining about what others post here is getting really old as well..
Okay, check this out. Metro pcs doesn't have rev A on lg optimus m
But, the prevail does.metro has 4g boost has shrinkage. Hmmmm
6.5 hours talk time (boost 3g android)
3.0 hours talk time (metro 4g android)
    Pros and cons
Oh I forgot sprint has been out longer so they might have more reliable network then metro so, lets see do I want, boost/virgin or metro

Price is correct. Found at Wal Mart in Claremont, NH. Caught my eye because of the different packaging.

Probably not untill after Sprint/Rim roll out new blackberies on postpaid contracts would be my guess. Looking at late summer/fall time frame at the earliest.

    ^ Speeds under perfect tower(average is 300-800k).

I hope Boost jumps on the 4g bandwagon, some nice 4g devices would be nice.

I seriously doubt it would ever happen.

Boost isn't in it for the extreme data eccentric fans.

When 5g is the norm at sprint, then look for boost to have 4g

Is it just me (viewing by mobile from work) or does that phone look like an exact replica of the new i475 Clutch? If the new Clutch is as weakly made as the old one and this (Motorola Theory) is a CDMA version then it way over priced. I have had a lot of hands on with the original Clutch and it wasn't worth the Black Friday price of $59.95 I paid when the fiancee had to have it.

Knowing Motorola has their name all over it... Probably will be similar but sporting a CDMA X series equivalent. I am a lot more interested in the Samsung Prevail.

Looks can be deceiving...........I remember the first time I saw a Clutch online at the Boost website, I thought wow that looks as good as the 8350i that I bought for twice that amount. Seeing it up close in person, my first reaction was much different.
