Ugh, customer service took too long to respond to my plea, so I decided to google some answers - inwhich I read this.
Eventually it lead me to connecting my pre-paid SIM card to an online Optus account. From there, I found out that "Caller ID" was set to No for some reason (I'm pretty sure I chose Yes when I was registering the SIM... strange).
From there, it said that it would take 36 hours for it to process. Fingers crossed that what I had just done would work!
...Otherwise I'll just wait for Customer Service again
Either way, I'll give an update in roughly 3 days!
Offtopic: Where can I buy a USB cable / screen protector for my SH-07B?![]()

Yeah... Pretty sure it was a provider problem ^^
Agree with qwerty there. Ebay is a good place to get the Cables.
As for screen protectors. Use this link

Hope that helped ^^
I love my phones
Wow, I wouldn't have thought that the FOMA USB cable costs THAT much... but thanks for the supportqwerty1235 and Xeph!
In regards to receiving calls, nothing has changed yet... It's still displaying Unavailable :\
I might just give Optus a call tomorrow and hopefully someone would answer my call![]()
Good luck. Tell us how it goes.
How are the CPR/signal issues with Optus? Is it stable?
Haha yeah good luck! I'm sure they just need some time to process it.
Updates would be awesome![]()
Woo! Looks like Optus had finally enabled Caller ID! Looks like you were right Xeph
In regards to signal issues and Optus, I haven't had any problems yet. Only when Metro travels underground to Flagstaff and Melbourne CentralSo I suppose Optus is pretty stable!
Thanks for the help guys!![]()
Great to hear that everything is fine now!
Do you need to CPR when signal goes OUT? If you can afford to go on Telstra, it is a good choice. 3G incoming/outgoing works (better battery life, clearer calls, better reception (if on Telstra) and video calls. The SH-07B also has 850MHz 3G so it works on the NextG network covering 99.9% of the Australian population. However, if Optus is working fine then it doesn't really matter which network you're on.
When I get no signal (like when I'm at mc) I don't need to CPR
I was only joking about how I wouldn't get any reception, since most of my friend's receptions also get cut off
In regards to Telstra, is there a pre-paid 3G SIM? If there is, I might consider it!
Yep. I'm using it now and it works great!
Ooo damn, now I just have to convert my friends to use Telstra so the rates will be cheaper! (assumptions :P)
I'll research more into TelstraThanks qwerty1235!
Can someone please help me?
I've just purchased a sharp docomo sh07b and have also purchased a hypersim. I combined the two as shown on the sellers page and can txt, receive txt and make out going calls however cannot receive incoming calls.
I am on contract with Optus and have a 3g sim card.
If someone could please help me i'd be super super happy!!^^
Thanks![]()
