Is it definitely locked as well?

It definitely will be. At this stage of the development cycle the bootloader hasn't been locked yet while development continues.

It's a full Blur system and framework. There is no reason to believe it would be otherwise.

That's disappointing to hear. Wonder what VZW phone is going to have stock Android then?

So the only difference over the D2 / D2Global is front facing camera, perhaps a small CPU bump, and keyboard enhancement?

The jump to an OMAP4 dual core with a more powerful GPU is not a "small CPU bump" by any means and I expect there will be other significant enhancements in features and performance over anything we have right now.

Again, I have not seen the device itself at all and am going on what I can see from "the inside out" so to speak.

It would be nice if they upgraded the camera module too. 5 MP is fine, but a better sensor and all that other camera stuff (I don't know much about photography...) would be awesome. So maybe there's a chance the camera will be better....maybe?

Fair point on the CPU. Though I would think they would take it to a qHD screen if they are upgrading to an
OMAP4 and a more powerful GPU.

The only thing I can think of that would make sense would be 1.5 GHz processor speed. Or 512 MB of RAM, but that's boring because it's been done over and over. A RAM boost would be nice.
