Post Froyo Upgrade Market Apps Availability Question -- HTC Desire
After updating to Froyo on my Desire, I was initially unable to reinstall all of my former apps from the market because some of them, such as PayPal Mobile, wouldn't show up as being available.
As of this morning, those apps now show up in searches and I am able to install them.
Does anyone know why this is? Is it something I did or didn't do with my phone, or is this like right after launch when we had to wait for USC, HTC and Google to update the market list to recognize our phones?
I had the same exact issue after I upgraded. A few of my apps took about 24 hours to magically reappear in the market.
I've heard some rumblings that since Google launched the browser version of the market, they've had some issues with market purchases and such getting synced to the right accounts and right devices.
Same here, I had FIFA 2010 for my Desire, and it didn't show up for several days. And I've seen more apps (i.e. Need for Speed) available that didn't show up before the 2.2 update.
