Simple Mobile Blackberry Sim Card

Ok I have been a Simple Mobile customer for awhile now was at a dealer a few weeks ago and he had Simple Mobile BB Sim cards so in a fit of brilliance I bought one. I haven't used it yet as right now i have the native browser working on a Blackberry and don't want to screw that up in case it messes up my service books. I realize the BIS isn't working yet so I thought I'd sit on the fence till it happens (if it ever will). I'm using Logic Mail, and a few other apps that allows that close to BIS service. I guess other than BBM and a few apps that require the RIM service I'm happy. Was happy to get that little trick to fool the native browser to work as I think it needs the BIS to actually really work.
Anyone know if its to my advantage to start using the new sim card?
Any idea when Simple Mobile will roll out the BIS?
Customer Service says in a few weeks or early March but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Well I got the newer sim card a few days ago and the web is faster.. But it seems everything still seems the same.. Simple should really hurry up and get the show on the road because I really want to use my blackberry storm its full potential.....

The Blackberry Storm unlocked tops out at EDGE 2g speeds for data on gsm . Under 200 kbps just fyi. For more potential and 3G get a cheap Tmobile Android G1 and use a cooked rom like the Cyanomod to get 2.xx . Original G1 only goes up to Android OS 1.6.
