Second touch screen phone coming to Net10

Net10 will introduce the Motorola EX124G touchscreen phone. It can be viewed at the 17:13 mark of the video located here.

Here are a couple of pics I snapped of the new Motorola from the infomercial. Not the greatest quality, but it gives you an idea what it looks like.

The EX124G looks like these phones:
    http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_ex128-3677.php (Listed as dual sim)
http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_mototv_ex245-3445.php (Not listed as dual sim, but has mobile tv capability)

I don't see the EX124G having mobile tv, I also don't see it having dual sim. The ex124G will probably be the EX128 but with just one sim.

More than likely just 2g(edge). They aren't letting much information leak out about this phone are they.

What's the release date on these phones. I wouldn't mind getting myself some touchscreen phones. Also had a question, if I switched to these phones and kept my old Net10 phone, would I be able to switch back and forth whenever I desired? I'm curious to know how that would work if I wanted to do that. I think these touch phones are great and it's a good sign that they're expanding with the market. Really, besides CS the phones are the next biggest problem and at least they're tryin.

They are GSM phones so each time you switched you would need a new SIM card. No idea when they will become available but they usually come to a store first.

I want the LG 800g to hurry up and come out--I just wish it had the red keys like the uk version Cookie Lite.

The EX124G and a couple of others now appear on Net10's site. They also show up on the 'activate phone' page, but it was easier to get them all at once this way.

The same new phones on Net10`s activation page are also showing up on the Tracfone activation page. I have my doubts for Tracfone.

FWIW, J&R is selling an unlocked Motorola EX128 for $135. From the photo on J&R's site, it looks like the spitting image of the EX124.

My hunch is that the Net10 EX124's specs probably won't differ much from the EX128 (apart from the deletion of the dual-SIM feature).
