Data has been up and down lately, mostly up though. SF Bay Area. I'm betting it's due to the storms we've been having the past few days. The power has been going in and out many places as well.
actually bought my phone 10 days ago !!! and the majority of the time mms did not work then one day it did that was two days ago now so it too me about a week i have confirmed vzw,at&t,metro pcs and VM are working w/ in an uncompressed way as the pics i send out are uncompressed as well ! i have yet to try tmobile but honestly if those work that one should to right!? i have yet to try videos but will try in just a moment in different sizes to see what can and cannot come though w/ VM
ps dose anyone know of an app like bbm for android users .?
Seem like after reboot (power down or switch in and out of airplane mode) temporary fixes no data issue. However once the phone sits idle for a while, it seem to lost data connection and I have to reboot. Is anyone else seeing this?

I'm having this also. At this point, I'm hoping it's a Virgin Mobile issue, and not my phone. It has been doing this ever since I installed that app that sets your phone at 1x. I uninstalled it days ago, and am still having this issue.

Yeah, hopefully its a Virgin Mobile issue.. where you located, tcliff, if you don't mind me asking? I'm in the Los Angeles area, just trying to get a feel if its local or nationwide and if its the network issue

I have been noticing it because I recieve work email on my phone. Lately, I've noticed it sometimes will show up on my work computer, but not on my phone. In every case, after switching back and forth from Airplane Mode, email started working again.
I haven't had data for about 24 hours now. In Baltimore, MD, although my brother who has the same phone and lives in the same house has not had any issues. I have the Intercept.
I had a strange thing happen yesterday--my billing end date is the 17th, and I could make calls and everything, but had no data and anything I'd do in the browser would redirect to virgin mobile's website. In order to fix it I had to restart my month...which isn't a big deal, it's just kind of annoying--i could have talked a few more hours using my old bucket of minutes.

That is exactly what my problem was! My month doesn't end until tomorrow, but as soon as I restarted a new month, voila! Everything worked again. Thanks!
I didn't notice about the night before because I was on wifi until I left thehouse my bus tracking website was redirecting which if kinda ridiculous. Maria will nd hearing about this on twitter! Maybe they'll comp my next month over it like they did with my bb mms issues for 3 months.

I have had a similar problem.
If I lose the 3g connection, it may or may not recover, and requires a reboot or airplane mode to fix it.
Not good.
I thought/was hoping for it to be coincidence.
Update:
I put it back on, along with Telinfo, after looking around, I may have used the wrong setting when switching it back. I'll update when I know for certain.

both my wife and I have been having this same issue as well, in the Boston area. It's been going on about a week or 2. The fact that multiple people are experiencing it makes me feel (somewhat) better in that it may be a VM issue and not the phones.
