How do I get pictures off of Samsung R335C besides using picture message to an email address? This phone has a 1.3 megapixel camera inside of it, and the resulting .jpg images are 1280x960 resolution.
One of the pictures I took turned out to be 360kb. The only way I know how to transfer pictures to my computer is by using my mobile web picture message ability and emailing the pictures to myself and then downloading them on my PC.
However, when I did this with the 360 kb picture, I got a message on the phone before my message was sent that said because the image size was so high, they would automatically reduce the file size. I had no choice if I wanted to send the picture.
The resulting message reduced the .jpg image size by over 90% creating a 36 kb image instead. I'm so pissed off right now. I have straight talk and pay for unlimited mobile web, and then they pull nonsense on me like this by reducing my image quality. I don't even use the mobile web on the phone for anything else besides this.
My only other idea was to navigate to a free file hosting website like hotfile or rapidshare or megaupload and upload the pictures that way, but I have not tried to do so yet and it would very time consuming and a major pain in the *** to do so.
Does anyone know of any other way to transfer the .jpg image files the Samung R335c creates besides using picture message to email? I think I have read somewhere it's possible to create a bluetooth connection with your pc and then use the bluetooth File Transfer Protocol and get the images over that way, but I think i need to buy some sort of adapter that plugs into my motherboard through USB or something. Is this true?
Thanks for everyone's time.
