Don't worry about the speed tests right now, actually don't run them. I would say, wait a couple of weeks and hopefully AT&T will tell you it is time...

Purchased it today. After using it most of the day I am not impressed. MotoBlur has some decent widgets and that's about it. I just can't keep it after the bad experiences with the Backflip and the Devour. Build feels cheap, screen has quite a bit of pixelation, data speeds were at about 1.5 Mbps, and the camera wasn't impressive either. I think I'm going to return it and try the HTC Inspire.

So I got mine today. This may be an odd question, Cellular Video (formerly Cingular Video) is no where to be found. It was there for the X10a, did AT&T drop that service?

Just got mine today, and I'm having an issue I can't seem to figure out and I can't find it on the web. I set up my gmail account as the default account and set the notification to silent and vibrate. However, when I receive an email, I get two notifications...one from gmail and one from the email program, which also gives a ringtone notification. I only want it to vibrate and it's driving me crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

EDIT: I've been screwing around with this for a while and couldn't figure it out until five minutes after I posted this...go figure. Anyway, in case anyone else has this issue, go into "Messaging"" (where you should see all of your accounts), touch "Gmail", then touch the menu button and look through the settings there for notifications.

My Atrix review is on my blog: http://technodatabase.squarespace.co...-atrix-4g.html

I'd appreciate your feedback in the comments too!

Someday they'll see the light. Or they won't, either way I don't care. I'll keep shining.

Has anyone unlocked an Atrix yet? I should be getting mine tonight (Toronto) and need to unlock it. Moving up from Xperia mini - I will also post my first impressions after un-boxing it.

I called At&T this morning to ask for my unlock code. They said that the Atrix cannot be unlocked until August 22nd.

I have ordered an unlock code online from cellunlock.net. They have a sticky thread stating that they CAN unlock the Atrix and their is also a discount code provided in their thread. I will post as to whether or not they are able to provide me with an unlock code.

Seems like I am the only Canadian on the forum to purchase an Atrix so far - no other comments yet!

lol, you probably are the only person, but i'm sure it's not by choice. If I lived closer to the border, i'd have one by now too just impatiently waiting for the code.

I would love an atrix but spend too much money on my vacation and now i gotta wait and get it subsidized by Bell when it comes out. I am also considering the nexus S but I'm so afraid of Samsung's build quality.

Can you define where you want to save your contacts to - Phone Memory or the SIM Card on the Atrix?

From what I'm reading in XDA & Android Forums, you need to hard reset once. Then let the battery drain all the way down. Then charge to 100%. Cheers.
