According to the T-Mobile map, I'm in a Very Good voice coverage area, about 100ft from an Excellent area, surrounded by Good - Excellent coverage for miles.

For data coverage, I'm about dead in the middle of Very Fast Mobile Web coverage that goes out 5+ miles in all directions.

In my house the phone is usually on EDGE with 2-4 bars. If I get it into 3G, it will usually have 0-1 bars. I tried driving around town to check the coverage and mostly I get 2 bars max with the exception of one area where I do get 4 bars.

I've never had T-Mobile before and I don't have any other T-Mobile devices, so I don't know if this is normal. I could understand if I was on the edge of a Moderate coverage area but the map pretty much shows my entire town as having the best coverage anywhere.

I'm wondering if there might be an issue with my phone or if there is anything I can try.
