Nice! I can't wait to see these mapped to get an idea of what the coverage will be like down there. I grew up in Niagara and all my family is down there so it will be great that they can all hop on the Wind wagon now.

Hi everyone... I am going to be in Niagara falls area later tonight, does anyone know if we have reception there or not? It would be nice not having to worry about roaming charges and being in a Wind home zone!!! If no one responds, I guess I will provide you an update later tomorrow...

    Thanks,

    S

I was headed out there today. Turned around at 403/QEW because of the Skyway closure. Good luck with the trip.

I was heading back today and saw the closure. Looks like a fatality just west of the Burlington Skyway :-( RIP.

As for actual coverage at Niagara Falls, sadly it is still an away zone. I stayed for over 48 hours, checked multiple times, at different locations, and either it was away or picking up roaming. Coverage stopped pretty much after St. Catherine's.

Someone hit a pedestrian. On the QEW. Don't ask me how.

Can you see it? Or is there no trace?

Holy crap, just googled "pedestrian killed on qew" to find out more about this and judging by all the results, this seems to happen on a frequent basis.

In my scans, I saw Rogers, Bell, TELUS, ATT and T-Mobile.

Close to the old casino, though, I saw a building top with empty antenna masts.

Well, I guess that goes to show that the QEW is not a safe place for pedestrians.
However, statistically the most dangerous place to be is in bed, since that is where most people die.
(now:how many of you are going to stay out of the bed tonight? )

So people have been getting Wind Home in St. Catharines but not further down the QEW into Niagara Falls? The antenna equipment has been installed on the towers in Fort Erie since the start of the summer. They're only just now starting to construct towers in Port Colborne, no antennas on them yet. I guess a sure-fire way of immanent launch will be an under construction storefront showing up in the Pen Centre.

And guys, really, it's St. Catharines. Not St. Catherine's. Only one E, no apostrophe.

Thanks French Canada for that non-standard spelling. :-/
