Droid1 (A855) Microphone not woking

Just got a factory refurb Droid 1 off ebay, activated it with PagePlus, but the microphone does not seem to work - nobody can hear me talking on other end. It is not muted. I went through the settings and didn't see anything. Is there a setting that I may be missing somewhere that could deactivate the microphone.

Just want to check since this was a factory refurb so there is no reason why it shouldnt work.
