    can the htc pro 2 sapport froyo android 2.2 os instead of the windows 6.5

    that basicaly says it all would it be smart to do this i heard the windows os dosent run smoothly plus i saw were someone took the hd2 and installed
    froyo 2.2 android os and it worked u could run either one anyone herd this please help got new pro2 havent turned it on yet cause dont know witch way to go.im on t-mobile by thwe way

    To experiment, you can run Froyo off of your SD card on your HD2 without a problem. If you don't like it, you can always boot back to the regular Win 6.5. Been doing it for over 2 weeks now running mostly android 90% of the time.

    Point taken; regardless, it can be done on a Touch Pro2 on T-Mobile as well....

    Make the HD2 a usable phone, should do the same for yours if a similar flash is available!

    Battery life is bad but not much worse than the HD2 with WinMo or any Android phone, if you want what I consider acceptable battery life (36 hours) you'll need to get a BlackBerry.

    For the experiment without Froyo you on your SD card on your HD2 problem. If you do not like, you can always start on the regular Win 6.5. Do it for longer than 2 weeks and it is mainly Android 90% of the time.
