To experiment, you can run Froyo off of your SD card on your HD2 without a problem. If you don't like it, you can always boot back to the regular Win 6.5. Been doing it for over 2 weeks now running mostly android 90% of the time.

Wirelessly posted (HTC Nexus One: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_7; en-us) AppleWebKit/530.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Safari/530.17)

Take a look at xda-developers. It can be loaded onto memory card at this time.

Make the HD2 a usable phone, should do the same for yours if a similar flash is available!

Here's the section for your phone:

Battery life is bad but not much worse than the HD2 with WinMo or any Android phone, if you want what I consider acceptable battery life (36 hours) you'll need to get a BlackBerry.
    It's me again...

For the experiment without Froyo you on your SD card on your HD2 problem. If you do not like, you can always start on the regular Win 6.5. Do it for longer than 2 weeks and it is mainly Android 90% of the time.
