iOS 4.3 Personal Hotspot versus MyWi?

I just jailbroke my iPhone 4 (4.3.1) I also have an Ipad 2 that I would like to tether to the phone. Does the Ipad have to be jailbroke (I know it's not available yet)...I'm not sure what the better alternative is "Tetherme" or MiWi? Any thoughts?

No your iPad doesn't need to be jailbroken to tether to your iPhone.

What I really like about personal hospot is that, even though it is turned on, if i am not using my ipad, it turns off personal hotspot. Then when I open my iPad, then it turns on personal hotspot.

Is ATT still busting people for using the tethering programs other than theirs?

i've heard AT&T is still threatening people. I don't use it often and I have not gotten the dreaded text message from them yet.

I'm curious how AT&T tracks your tethering on third party apps, I've received one of those messages from AT&T but since then PDA net has added an update to "hide" usage.

I'm finding that pdanet isn't very reliable and I notice that tetherme says that your usage can't be tracked with their solution either but idk. I just want to make my iPad work on occasion when I dont have wifi.
