$599 off contract
$170 on 3 year/ min 50$ plan

Update that info. Bell is not permitted to sell the Atrix off contract according to the latest news from Mobilesyrup.com.
Also, does not make any sense that Bell Canada selling it for $599.99cdn when AT&T selling it for $499.99us with off contract option. Our dollar is closely on par with the US.
You can buy it for $599 if you're activating it on a bell line of some sort. Either on a month to month term, or your existing line that has no HUG available.
The memo that was sent out that MobileSyrup posted refers to selling it off contract to someone who has no intentions of using it on the Bell network. Like a Rogers customer walking in, buying it, and activating it on their Rogers line.
This isn't anything new either.

anyone work at a bestbuy? wondering if they know how much stock they are getting the first day, I pre ordered mine at best buy and they said they will call when they have one for me.
Bestbuy always says they don't sell phones off contact but I've bought half a dozen... perhaps I'm just intimidating because I body build lol
Futureshop employees work with commission, so they have incentive to sell a phone AND a contract, rather than just making the sale for the phone. If they don't have lots of stock, they won't sell it without a contract, or upgrade to an existing line, or at full price to someone with an existing line. Some employees won't sell it without a contract regardless of an existing line. Most corporate stores are the same.
Bestbuy doesn't have commissions, so they don't really care about outright sales and I've bought several phones from them because of it. I also like the Rewards points they offer if no one else has a better discount.

not worth paying 599 + tax for this one IMO since you can get one from US for 499 + tx
and even Sntraders is selling them for 600 (cash, tax in for pick up)
the $499 AT&T price is for existing AT&T customers only. if you are not a AT&T customer its $599.
