So here is an issue I've been having now for a month or two that never happened before. This happened on 2.2, and I am now up to date with 2.3.3 and it's still happening.

I use my N1 on Telus, and find that if my phone has been on Wifi for a really long time, such as overnight, when I leave my wifi network, it doesn't automatically switch to 3G. I have to manually go to the mobile network settings, search for available networks, and do it that way.

Now the crazy thing is, once I do this, if I return home, then leave again a short while later, I have no problem and the phoen automatically goes back onto 3G. It seems to only occur when on a network for many hours.

has anyone else had this issue?
