Can't get computer to read Micro SD on Defy

    Hello everyone,

I recently picked up a T-mobile Motorola Defy MB525 and was gonna go through the process of transferring music over and some photos I had on my computer to the phone. So I went into my setting and set it to USB debugging like I did when I had my Droid but when I connect it to my computer and it'll bring up the Media share option but it will not allow me to enable memory card access options. It just bring up an error menu saying "The USB connection cannot change to Memory Card access" and I can't make it past the enable screen to transfer anything. I am still new to the whole Blur thing so I am not 100% on what to do at this point. I was hoping you could help me out.

Set it to mass storage mode.

I charge forward recklessly, leaving chaos in my wake.
Boycott phones that lack microSD storage and removable batteries! Do not allow the user experience to be diminished!

While I appreciate the answer how do I go about doing that? I can't find the setting anywhere.

Well I realized how to go to mass storage mode but I ran into another problem. When I plug my phone into my computer it doesn't bring up to the option to mount my SD card what could be causing this?

The card might be corrupt. On your phone, choose Menu>Settings>Phone and SD card storage and have it reformat your card. Then set to mass storage and connect to your computer again.

I have tried reformatting and I still can't get it to go into mass storage. I can put pictures on the card but thats it. Unless I am missing a setting to turn it on.
