Will an unlocked MyTouch 4G phone work well on the Family Mobile network?

Will an unlocked MyTouch 4G phone work well on the Family Mobile network, provided there is 4G coverage? Given that I do not intend to use a lot of data, and that the Walmart voice and text plan is cheaper than that offered by T-Mobile I would like to use the FamilyMobile plan.

Any suggestions?

Once your phone is unlocked you can use it with any gsm carrier, as for 4g internet it depends on if the carrier you go to uses the same frequency as t-mobile does for their 4g worst case you will get edge and edge online. I want to say that 3g works on simple mobile with and unlocked Mytouch 4G

Yes it works excellent. Only downside is NO Wifi calling..Otherwise its as good as regular Tmobile acct
