Also, the statement that it is a whole other OS is misleading. If it were a completely seperate OS then Android would not be able to even see Firefox, let alone kill it:
"...For a period of time, however, the Firefox browser remains running, to allow any auto-save functionality to trigger for web sites such as GMail or Microsoft Office Live. After this period of time, Firefox is suspended and its priority is lowered, allowing it to be killed if Android deems it necessary."
