4.5" screen and all that.
Hopefully this will come out before tiered data pricing!

A few things I noticed...
These images look to be taken during a FCC or Bluetooth testing, or something similar.
There are only 5 home screens on the phone, not 7.
The camera says its 8MP AF and takes 1080p video.
The back shows Verizon 4G LTE on the battery cover.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this might be a earlier test model, not a final version.

I'm willing to bet that if you turn it sideways you will still see the camera hump. It is really hard to tell from the photos but it seems that the color deviates ever so slightly about an inch and a half from the top and at the same point on the side of the phone it looks like there is a slight deviation in the straight edge. Since the photo is taken almost exactly from above it makes it extremely difficult to tell. I don't mind a hump if it means its housing a high quality sensor

What a behemoth. It makes the atrix look like a closed flip phone

ugh 4.5" really? no thanks.
Just beat me to the punch. I turned my laptop around and I can just make out the slight variance in shading that indicates a hump so itnow more than ever looks like a revamped Targa/Bionic. Not bad but I really did like the Zaha that was leaked and we postulated briefly might be the bionic.
4.5 inches? As much as I'd like the extra screen real estate, that may make the phone too big for my liking. The Droid X is already pushing the limit IMO.
So the question is if this is a accurate portrayal of the final look? Is it really 4.5? Or because its a Defy and not an Atrix is it really 4.3? That doesn't bother me much being a tall/bigger guy but I wouldn't mind knowing. And if this is 2.3.4 why is there only 5 home screens? Shouldn't it be 7? And if that chin means means a physical keyboard I would almost considering passing on this as I have no use for one and don't need the added bulk.
Amen to that. I am 6'4' and 210 so 4.5 in vs 4.3 doesn't mean a thing. Come on 1/5 of an inch? Not a big deal. Now if there is a physical keyboard, I will pass as that is not my thing, however, that has never been discussed and based on all the photos, I don't see one, so I am very happy. Webdock info and VZW allowing an unlocked bootloader is of more interest at this point IMO.
And Winston, WNRussel, how sure of the August date are you? I want to lock in unlimited data so thinking of getting the Tbolt at Costco and then returning it for the Bionic but I only have 90 days in which to return it so it needs to be out by second week of September.
Don't really care about the screen size. My hands are big enough to make a dell streak look small, so the screen size is not an issue. I'm 6"4 and 230 btw (all muscle).
It will be interesting to see how big this phone is vs a DROIDX. And a unlocked boot loader would make my day with this phone.
Can't believe no one is mentioning that the marginalized hump might mean a BIGGER BATTERY? That has been the biggest complaint about ALL LTE phones so far. If this has an 1800-2000mah battery and is still SOMEWHAT thin that would almost allow me to forgive it for not being the Droid 3 4G and not having a keyboard.
