This need a new thread or was this a possible name for Targa before it inherited the Bionic name?

BTW, there is a funny comment in there. "It must be the Bionic. In this case, HD = Huge Delay. :-)"

Same as the above on the Galaxy SII. There's no reason why it won't get it. There hasn't been a high-end Android phone that hasn't seen at least one OS version upgrade (whether that be an actual update to users or one that's in the works to be released). Motorola has always upgraded their top tier devices to a new OS version at least once. It might take them some time, and they might drag their feet, but the Bionic will get it.

That stuff is easily spoofed.
I don't think the gsII is going to have LTE sadly, the radio for first gen creates to much heft and samsung said they would not change the gsII's form factor this time around. They may use the second gen radio tho, but this would probably mean it won't be out tell next year.

Never heard this form factor claim. Not sure why they would have different names on different networks if it was going to keep the same form everywhere? I am also pretty confident there will be a dual core LTE samsung. Whether it's an official SGS2 derivative or just a dual core upgrade to the Charge doesn't really matter. And I am guessing both could show before Bionic. Pretty clear already that Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE will hit before Xoom LTE upgrades start so don't know why they also couldn't get a dual core LTE phone out first also as they are essentially very similar devices outside screen size and voice network capabilities.
I've never heard them directly say that either, but the thinness is something that they market pretty heavily and draw attention to. Because of that, I don't think they'd want to make the device thicker on any network. But I do agree that there will definitely be some sort of Galaxy SII-like phone with LTE in the future (probably before the end of the year).
I think this is worth talking about. http://goo.gl/DvZLk
I don't think the DROID HD is real. Just some guy having fun with the build.prop.
We haven't seen or even heard anything about the Verizon SGII, so it's pretty silly to think it'll release before the Bionic. Of course pics and a pretty legit release date could be published tomorrow making me eat my words, but I doubt it.
As far as those specs, the 4460 is the only thing really new and exciting. Although it'd be underclocked, with custom kernals we could make that thing fly.

Samsung is a Korean company and may also be less likely to leak things deliberately in general. The names of all the US network SGS2 phones have been announced or leaked or something though. And the Galaxy Tab LTE is about to hit. An SGS2 LTE phone is basically the same thing with a smaller phone. There is no reason such a device couldn't show up before the late August/September time frame Targa which is now Bionic was expected by. Wouldn't be surprised to see it in July really though with the Tab hitting within weeks.
Yes actually. Dual core ARM A9 with CDMA/LTE radios. Basically the Galaxy Tab LTE is like a Tegra2 SGS2 with a big screen and no voice. Some markets will get Tegra2 SGS2's as Samsung doesn't have enough volume on Exynos for all SGS2's too use it. Not sure if Tegra2 is the plan for VZW SGS2 derivative though?
Regardless, would almost put money on it hitting at a VERY SIMILAR and possibly earlier date than Bionic judging by Moto's promises/performance so far this year.
There would be nothing to read here if not for.....
The omap is a pair of A9s also, along with the original etna, the chips can be way different from each other even with common starting blocks of the a9. Look at all the phones released this past year, they were all based on the same chip does that mean they automatically should have been released in the same month?

That wasn't really the point.
The point was that Samsung has an LTE/Dual Core A9 device working already and about to release, Moto DOES NOT.
Or Samsung is about to ship out such a device anyhow, I guess until peeps have the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE in hand and can report how well it works, we technically don't know how mature the setup is. Moto hasn't even started taking Xoom's back for LTE upgrades at all yet.
