I thought I read that the D3 can now be ordered. Does that bode well for the end of this month for web/CS sales?

I hope this ends up being better than I think it's going to be
I was completely joking regarding the screen image. I had to say something regarding the screen as it has received more attention than any other aspect of this phone on this thread.

I don't think anyone we "know", with the exception of Winston25, actually has a Bionic in hand...call me skeptical.![]()

We should know in several week?
Best online photographic representation yet of what I am annoyed by with Pentile RGBW LCD from Anands X2 review. This shows exactly what bothered me when I checked out the atrix.
The gray and green look as if you are looking through a screen door. Didn't notice on the Atrix, but it seems greens have trouble even looking sharp at all for whatever reason if you compare the battery. Anand's reviewer claims it's a visual acuity related to color thing, but I am not sure it's just that the way these photos represent so well what bothered me?? At arms length the less contrasted nature of a non pentile IPS LCD's pixel hatch looks fades into smooth colors, but pentile hatched screen door look remains out to well beyond arm length because of the more contrasty natures of it's hatch effect.
Notice also below that the X picture is zoomed in a bit more and still doesn't exhibit nearly as much of the screen door effect.

Now think about the more standard pixels on the X actually being multiplied to qHD. It would look WAY sharper overall.
I really hope Bionic shows with something that doesn't look all screen doored out like this. I just don't need to read in direct sun light or have some supposed battery savings for similar brightness that badly.
it seems like the pentile has a big problem with accurate color reproduction
If it is that bad, then why is it being used?
