Great, perfect time for Verizon to switch up their data plans into tiers and take away unlimited 4g. This is my biggest dilemma because I don't know if I should wait for this device or lock in unlimited 4G and buy a HTC tbolt. This way I can try to sell it and buy the bionic off contract

Based on the last few posts, 4 - 8 weeks + 2 months...so 3 - 4 months from now unless I'm reading something wrong...and 4 months from now is Sept. So, probably like the last day of the quarter...lol.

I think right now would be an even better time for it to appear. And I'm hoping 2.4

Google has already said that 2.4 won't be coming until Q4, so the Bionic definitely won't have that at launch. One would think that it would launch with some version of 2.3, especially if we're looking at a August/September release.

well that settles it im going to go get the tbolt so i can lock in the 4g unlimited . i wonder can they knock me out of the 4g unlimited if i change to the targa whenever it comes out ??

If it slips, maybe 2.4.x? I would prefer it sooner, but wonder how much field testing improves the phone beyond a certain point? Based on the DX2 review in Phonearena, I wonder about how useful a dual core is now?

I'm blaming tegra 2 for any trouble with dx2. They shoulda stuck with ti. Hasn't failed them yet

I blame poor implementation of software. Tegra is more than capable.

so how soon before release does all the internal testing begin so we can finally get some leaked pics or at least some discription of what it ganna look like and feature as far as specs? XD

Damn it! Dropped my d1 and its acting funny now. I hope I can hold out till the bionic comes out. Otherwise I might have to settle for d3

My concern is that my D1 will fail before the Bionic appears. If not for Cyanogen, I might have bought a phone by now.
