Windows Live - how to keep MSN contacts seperate

Hi all

I already have a Windows Live account as I use MSN Messenger. However, if I wanted to use the same Windows Live account on a WP7 phone to manage my phone contacts, how do I keep my MSN and phone contacts seperate?

When I login to the Windows Live website, there's just one section for contacts that shows all of my MSN contacts. Obviously, I wouldn't want any of these on my phone, but I can't seem to see any way of getting rid of them from the contacts section that wouldn't also remove them completely as MSN contacts.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Don't think you can't unless you create another windows live account but that's going to screw you over if and when MS decides to bring their own integrated MSN Messenger to WP7.

Since all your contacts are stored in the "Cloud", it's great in cases where you lose your phone or get a new WP7 headset and the contacts list are automagically downloaded when you register your new phone.

in your case, I can't think of a way unless you have another Windows Live account.
