Please use this thread to talk about the HTC Thunderbolt, as it is now listed on the Verizon site:

Can somebody please post a picture of the antenna port ?
can someone test out the ability to tether without the service fee?
Okay, so I've always just purchased from the Verizon store. Could someone please tell me what the advantages are of purchasing from BestBuy (aside from any price difference)? Thx.
Apparently there is a system glitch with this phone and the Nationwide Plus Canada voice plan. It will not allow the combination. I'm waiting for a call back from a higher-level supervisor, as neither the Web site nor the standard phone agent is able to do it. The ordering process requires a plan change for some reason, despite the fact that the Canada voice plan is fully compatible and still offered by VZW.
Just want to give those with an employee discount plan a heads up.. it's showing at $199.99 on a 2yr or $229.99 on a 1yr online for me, but in the store, the rep was unable to match that price, saying he could only offer consumer pricing
so, i ordered it online...
I placed an order this morning online with a one year price and got it for 269.99. I dont have any discounts. There was a problem with the site at 5 this morning so I called in at 6 and was told the 319.99 priice. So I just ordered it online. The problem online was that it was making me choice an extended watt for 1.99 no way to decline. Lady told me that once the phone comes I can remove that.
Am I dreaming if I think there is anyway to get a discount on the phone when I'm only 8 months into a 2-year contract? I get a corporate discount on voice, data and accessories, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't apply to phones.![]()
Man, what happened to the days of real release threads? It isn't hype--the droid specific forums have been crazy the past few weeks.
In the past, this thread would be at least 30-50 pages by this time. We would have had 3 pre-release threads due to the huge number of posts.
I just did a speed comparison between 3g and 4g - I was shocked by the results. I should note that 3g isn't great in my area anyway...
