I for one am saddened at the demise of traditional keitais, as I don't like Google and its control that much.

Yeah, everyone everywhere is crazy about Android. And doesn't it feel a bit strange that we (at least at people I know) don't say "I'll search for it (on the internet)" but "I'll google it" instead...

I've heard (from phone repair professionals) that Android is the platform where they are tracking everything you do, much more than iPhone.

Simple script uses your local PC time to work out how long it has to go (my PC is set to Australian time, so it shows zero minutes remaining)

Interesting, i guess none of the phones support their new 42mb download speed.

The twin lens SH-12C really makes me jealous though. If i could do without a keyboard (which i cant) it would definitely tempt me to switch to Docomo. Recording 3D video, and then being able to play it back in 3D would be priceless. I was tempted to buy the twin lens Fujifilm camera the other day; it now comes with a 3D screen too...

Wow, that SH-12C is something to really get excited about.. I'm content with my 003SH as of now tho, really nice that the whole android lineup is coming with 2.3, hey tokyo_dom, hear anything about 003/5SH getting 2.3 anytime soon? Since they are fully capable of running it.

Well if they did get it, i suspect it would be the 003SH first, and a few months later Sharp might say "oh sorry, we forgot about you 005SH users, you can have it too"
But no news as of yet. Desire HD got it recently, and now the SH-12C

Keep in mind that Android does let you opt out of the anonymous location data collection (just disable 'Use wireless networks' in My Location).

Oh yes- the Fujifilm camera. I nearly got one for free (along with a 3D Blu-ray player) a few months back with a 3DTV which I was tempted to purchase.

Camera does work quite well though. If you want to display images on something larger than your phone/3DS/camera screen you'll have to buy their 3D digital picture frame or a 3DTV though.
